One of the most rewarding experiences in my work is supporting someone with anxiety because it is incredible to witness the vast personal growth that can be achieved with therapy. I have seen people go from being extremely limited in their functioning to living a happy and more fulfilled life as they developed the tools to manage their anxiety.
I have been told I have a very calming nature and I believe that helps in my work with people who suffer from anxiety. I offer a very safe, warm, and nurturing environment that can help make the therapeutic experience something you look forward to rather than feel anxious about.
Highly Sensitive People (HSP)
I am a Psychotherapist that specializes in the trait of the Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) and have completed a program with Dr. Elaine Aron, a world-renowned Psychologist studying this trait, also known as Sensory Processing Sensitivity.
Working with a therapist that is knowledgeable about this trait can be crucial to exploring how this trait affects you and learn new tools for living better in an overstimulating sensory world. There are real differences in the HSP brain and I can help tailor our work together to support your needs.
Self-esteem is your evaluation of your own worth and how you feel about your SELF. This attitude toward your self affects every decision you make and everything you do. Low self-esteem is a negative self-evaluation and can create self-defeating behaviors. You may become blocked emotionally and have a hard time creating and meeting goals.
Do you wish your confidence and self-esteem could be higher? One of the many benefits to therapy is that once you start working on your sense of self you start increasing your self-esteem.
When you increase the way you feel about yourself, you also have more access to your inner resources and navigation tools. You feel more empowered to make the best choices for yourself and pick the path that’s right for you rather than accidentally walking on a path that’s not right. When you are empowered, you choose the path in front of you, your journey is the one you want, and you feel happier inside, and life is so much better!
Sexual Orientation, Gender Diversity and Expression
I offer a safe, supportive, non-judgmental space to talk and explore. As an openly gay therapist, I enjoy working with LGBTQQ clients and one particular speciality is with people coming out and finding their true, authentic self later in life.
I am also a professional member of Gaylesta, the Psychotherapist Association for Gender and Sexual Diversity.
Couples therapy is an extremely important investment. Some studies show couples wait, on average, six years from the start of problems before coming in for therapy. But the longer one waits, the more resentment and distance occurs, making it harder and taking longer to repair and resolve.
Couples therapy should also be used as ongoing maintenance - a good tune up is needed to help keep the relationship strong. The sooner you come in the sooner things can get better.
You will learn tools to communicate most effectively and help to repair issues. Your friendship, connection, and closeness can deepen. Overall, the experience usually makes couples feel closer and more connected very early on.

Book & Pay Online
I am not on any insurance panels. If your insurance company covers your use of an out-of-network provider for mental health services, I can provide you with a bill listing the dates and fees of your sessions. In this case, you pay me in full at the time of each session, and then you submit the bill for reimbursement to your insurance company.
There are advantages of paying directly for therapy services, rather than through your insurance:
- There is no compromise of your confidentiality by the sharing of information with your insurance company. Your insurance records do not include information of your receiving mental health services.
- There is no need for me to label you with a diagnosis to justify to your insurer that you are in need of services.
- All decisions about the focus, frequency, and duration of therapy are made by you and me, not by the insurance company.
When the student is ready, the teacher is here.
I know the importance of being able to talk with someone who understands the unique experiences of being an HSP.
As a psychotherapist specializing in the highly sensitive person and a parent of highly sensitive children and an HSP myself, I found my passion in sharing what I know to help highly sensitive people live their best lives.
Join me for one-on-one coaching sessions from anywhere in the world. We can talk via video conference or by phone.
We can meet weekly, one time only, or just when you need support during certain times in your life.
We will work in our coaching sessions toward discovering, clarifying, and reaching your goals. I can help you find and follow your true calling. We will look at recognizing what obstacles are in your way, how you can move past them, and how you can be your authentic self and realize your life purpose.
I have coached clients from all over the world who have reached out to me because of my specialty and knowledge of the highly sensitive person. This has included:

I also provide consultations for:
Parents of Highly Sensitive Children
New research shows us that without the right support highly sensitive children are more likely to experience anxiety and depression in life. If you are a parent of a highly sensitive child, learn everything you can about the trait and how to support your sensitive child in the right ways. These consultations are for the parents to discuss tools and techniques to help their HSP child succeed and thrive in life and help prevent anxiety and depression.
Health Care Providers
Are you a professional health care provider. e.g. a doctor, therapist, psychiatrist or psychologist, with clients or patients who are HSPs and dealing with Sensory Processing Sensitivity? It can be essential for your client's or patient's treatment and wellbeing to understand the trait of the Highly Sensitive Person which is why I also offer individual consultations to professionals in the medical and mental healthcare field.
